Oxendon Partners is supporting a unitary council in their search for an Interim Children's Social Care Finance Specialist for a period of 6 months initially.

🔹 CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant with proven change management experience.
🔹 Support the finance team with knowledge transfer for sustainable practices and career growth.
🔹 Offer expert financial analysis and advice for strong business cases and cost reduction/income generation.
🔹 Collaborate with service teams to develop scalable cost-saving or revenue-generating interventions.
🔹 Provide constructive challenge and advice to the Service, ranging from Executive Director, through to individual Budget Holder in order to maintain expenditure within approved budget.
🔹 Provide direct support to the Head of Finance Business Partnering in establishing consistent financial working practices and procedures to a high standard and a disciplined approach to financial evaluation and options appraisal.
