We are currently working with a District Council to recruit an interim Technical Capital Accountant for an initial period of 6 months. You will be working on capital closedown and balance sheet reconciliations.
Experience working with closedown in capital is required, as well as an understanding of IFRS16 and how it applies. This is a completely remote role.
Technical accounting for capital expenditure, capital funding and fixed assets
- PFI schemes and accounting
- Implementing a fixed asset register
- Implementing IFRS16
- Technical finance advice and support
- Preparation of Accounts for Trusts associated with the Council and managing their audits.
- Reviewing and improving accounting processes/procedures.
